I spent some time dreaming of the qualities I desired in my website. It felt a bit like handing a shoebox of receipts in to your accountant, except that this time I was turning over a list of adjectives to a branding designer and her team.​

I spent some time dreaming of the qualities I desired in my website. It felt a bit like handing a shoebox of receipts in to your accountant, except that this time I was turning over a list of adjectives to a branding designer and her team.

As it turns out, identifying what I wanted was only the first big hurdle.  The second was making a decision to present a really honest portrayal of me, my process, and all the mess that goes along with the nature of my job.  I learned long ago that I was an abject failure at corporate life, so why present a polished, perfected image to the world?  Eccentricities are a vital ingredient to any creative endeavor, and they’re something I certainly have in spades.

Having labored with those decisions and presenting my results to Cheryl, my most challenging tasks were complete.  She had what she needed to work with our website designer Michelle, and provide me with a platform that matched up with my strange list of requests.
