Have you been feeling like your brand isn't working for you anymore? This is a common issue for small business owners. Even as a designer I go through moments where I need a little refresh because my brand isn't lining up with my goals.

Rebranding can be a really inspirational process - you take the time to look inward and figure out what direction you want to lead your business to. I've had clients in the past come to me after they built their own brand - it wasn't they're area of expertise but they needed something to get started, which is totally understandable. While this is a cost-effective you might be steering business away if your brand isn't professionally designed.

Here are some ways to know you're ready to re-brand with a professional designer:

YOUR DON'T HAVE ALL THE FEELS FOR YOUR LOGO

Your logo is the first impression people get of your business. If it doesn't speak to you chances are it's not speaking to your ideal clients. It can be that it feels amateur or outdated A great logo stands the test of time - this is why I'm weary of trendy logos. Taking the time to figure out what you want your logo to say about your brand will make sure you have a logo that is timeless and classic.

YOU AREN'T ATTRACTING YOUR IDEAL CLIENTS

When a brand is built around your ideal clients, they'll come flocking. A brand can't be built around a favorite color - it goes way beyond that. If for instance, you're a yoga instructor and your ideal client are woman ranging from 25 -45, than your brand should speak to that demographic. Taking the time to figure out who your ideal client is, where do they hang out, what are they interested in? When you take the time to define who your clientele in detail, you'll have a more cohesive brand that you can build upon.

YOUR BRAND DOESN'T STAND OUT

Just like your personality and wardrobe your brand should stand out amongst the crowd. There should be something very 'signature' to you. By partnering with a brand stylist, you'll create a brand that separates you from the competition. It will be cohesive, memorable and fit your personality.
